I had high hopes for my overnight stay at Manly's Q Station boutique hotel in Sydney Harbour National Park. Just 30 minutes from the city, the hotel is housed in a collection of buildings that made up the former Quarantine Station. Carefully and sympathetically restored, the entire site is a delight for lovers of history but it does present a number of challenges for the wheelie traveller.
