National Gallery Of Australia

The National Gallery of Australia is the premier art gallery and museum in Australia, holding over 120,000 works of art. It was established in 1967 by the Government of Australia as a national public art gallery.

The National Gallery of Australia proudly presents Masterpieces from Paris: Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and beyond, one of the most extraordinary exhibitions ever to be held in Australia. Masterpieces from Paris explores the explosive arrival of modern art in Europe.

The exhibition features 114 Post Impressionist works from one of the great museums of 19th-century art, the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Be captivated by Van Gogh’s Starry night 1888 and Bedroom at Arles 1889, Gauguin’s painting Tahitian women 1891, Cézanne’s beloved Mount Saint-Victoire c 1890, and many other great examples by artists such as Georges Seurat, Pierre Bonnard, Claude Monet, Maurice Denis, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec and Édouard Vuillard.
