Eco Beach YHA – Affordable Beach Breaks

Apollo Bay, Vic. Positioned on the Great Ocean Road, a block from Boat Harbour, Eco Beach YHA is within easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants while being surrounded by natural beauty. It offers both the coastal landscape popular for swimming, kayaking, surfing and fishing; and the neighbouring Otway Ranges, home to the largest steel-structure tree-canopy walkway in the world.

Demonstrating an interest in environmental sustainability, the hostel uses a range of energy and water-saving techniques such as three 2400-litre rainwater tanks which are used to irrigate the gardens and lawns. Communal facilities include two self-catering kitchens, barbecues and a rooftop deck with views of the ocean, while rooms feature wood heaters and balconies.
