THE AUSTRALIAN THREE PEAKS RACE

April 6-9

Fancy yourself fit? Get a team together for this ultimate endurance challenge, comprising sailing and running. It commences at Beauty Point just north of Launceston on the Tamar River and finishes in Hobart on the Derwent River. En route, running members of each team must scale Mt Strzelecki, Mt Freycinet and Mt Wellington.

 

TASMAZIA INTERNATIONAL MURAL FEST

See nine selected artists each complete a mural within a week, using a poem titled “The Food Bowl” for inspiration. The Wilderness Gallery, Sheffield.

Tassie’s premier agricultural event is held over three days at Quercus Rural Youth Park, south-west of Launceston. With more than 700 exhibitors, attractions vary from machinery, livestock, clothing and homewares to working blacksmiths, draught horse displays and free rides.
