About Us

Australian Traveller was formed in February 2005 with two objectives:

  1. Publish Australia’s premier and iconic travel magazine
  2. Provide advertisers with a premium and effective advertising solution based on a readership of committed, smart and discerning travellers

Australia’s premier and iconic travel magazine
The magazine aspires to be the most authoritative, accessible, informative and entertaining source for any Australian Traveller.

It is a bi-monthly magazine read by Australians committed to travel in this country. It is the only national domestic travel magazine and the highest selling travel magazine in Australia.

The editorial policy of the magazine is “The REAL DEAL”. We do not accept free or sponsored travel to maintain the editorial independence of the magazine and the trust of our readers. For a copy of our editorial guidelines please
email us.

The magazine is full of the finest writing, covering the entire range of travel - from luxury to small town hospitality, from the outback to the beach, from laid back relaxation to active adventure, Australian Traveller entertains and inspires travellers with practical and entertaining features.
