Switch into your party-mode and head up to Cairns to help celebrate during the Festival Cairns 2008. 

For three weeks from August 27 to September 20, the entire city of Cairns will be celebrating its annual Festival.

The Festival Cairn’s “love” theme continues to live on, extending to celebrate the community life of the city and the environment, combining the celebration with a line-up of more than 40 free and ticketed events. All three weeks will be jammed-pack, ensuring that no-one misses out in the celebration by combining sport, art, music, culture and foodie-driven events – some including the Ergon Energy’s Busking Festival, the Cairns Amateurs Racing Carnival and the Food, Wine and All that Jazz Carnival, to name just a few.
