100 Greatest Australian Gourmet Experiences Nomination

Do you know a Great Australian Gourmet Experience?

Australia’s best-selling travel magazine is on the hunt for the 100 Greatest Australian Gourmet Experiences.

An impressive panel of foodies and chefs have been corralled to judge the nominations. So far, confirmed panellists include:

The 100 Greatest Australian Gourmet Experiences follows on the success of previous flagship issues:
  1. 100 Things To Do In Australia Before You Die (2006);
  2. 100 Great Things To Do In Australia You’ve Never Heard Of (2007);
  3. 100 Best Towns in Australia (2009);

“This will be our best 100 issue ever,” said Australian Traveller editor Greg Barton.

“The passion for food in Australia is undeniable and this special issue will be a feast for all Australian foodies and gourmands.”

The industry and public are invited to nominate their favourite amazing Australian Gourmet Experiences.

“From great restaurants to landing your own barra and barbecuing it on the spot to shucking and sucking down a few Coffin Bay Oysters on the beach, we are looking for those special Aussie gourmet experiences. I am already salivating reading some of the early nominations,” Barton continued.

The nomination form takes less than five minutes to complete and multiple nominations from organisations or individuals are welcomed.

Before you mobilise an army of keen nominators to inundate us with nominations for the same experience, be aware that the total number of nominations for any one experience does not determine the 100 experiences. That will be determined by the  votes cast by the judging panel, so a single nomination per experience is all that's required.

All nomination forms need to be submitted by Friday 29th January.
