About the Wheelie Traveller

Vanessa Waller (aka the Wheelie Traveller or Ms Wheelie), possesses a unique combination of skills and circumstances that have put her in the perfect position as a wheelie travel writer.
Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2000, Vanessa's disability has progressed gradually, giving her first-hand experience of travelling with a wide range of mobility aids.
Prior to her diagnosis, Vanessa worked as a technical writer and was a keen traveller. Although travelling with a wheelchair has presented some challenges for Vanessa, it has not diminished her life-long passion for travel.

Mission Statement

"To provide relevant information to travelling wheelies, and to educate the travel sector about accessibility."
