One of nature’s wonders, Lake Eyre is the largest lake in Australia which rarely fills but is enjoying being fed by the western river systems after all the monsoonal weather across northern Australia  Travel West’s 1-Day Lake Eyre Flights from Brisbane will operate on Saturday’s throughout 2011.  All the local rain has meant a feast of colours from the air over the vast landscapes with Graham providing a very interesting and entertaining commentary on the day. It’s a great year to see not only amazing Lake Eyre but the Channel Country and magnificent Goyder Lagoon. Your flight also includes a visit to the iconic Birdsville Hotel.
