Lark Quarry, in outback Australia, is currently the only recorded dinosaur stampede on earth. In this place, around 95 million years ago, a large herd of small two legged dinosaurs gathered on the banks of a forest lake to drink.

"Stampede with Dinosaurs"

Travel back in time 95 million years with a visit to Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways, the site of the world’s only recorded evidence of a dinosaur stampede.

Over 3,300 fossilised footprints are on display, housed in an award-winning ecologically sustainable complex. Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways is open twelve months of the year, and interpretive tours of the Dinosaur Trackways run three times daily, exploring the history of the Trackways from creation to discovery and display. Further explore the stunning surrounding landscape on the Spinifex Walk, or relax with a picnic in the shade.
The Trackways are located on Lark Quarry Conservation Park, just 110km south-west of Winton, Queensland.
So what are you waiting for — make tracks to Lark Quarry!
