Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways

Lark Quarry, in outback Australia, is currently the only recorded dinosaur stampede on earth. In this place, around 95 million years ago, a large herd of small two legged dinosaurs gathered on the banks of a forest lake to drink.

Before you enter the Trackways Viewing room, discover other Cretaceous fossils and fossilised dinosaur food in the Fossil Room. Children love these fun, life-sized dinosaur cut outs in the Foyer. Enjoy the stark and spectacular scenery of Red Earth and Jump Up Country. View the world’s only recorded evidence of a Dinosaur Stampede. The Trackways are preserved in an award-winning, ecologically sustainable building.
