Fringed by the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches of the Moreton Bay marine and national parks, Tangalooma Island Resort is located on beautiful Moreton Island; the third largest sand island in the world. Only a short cruise from Brisbane, adventure seekers, or those who prefer nature-based experiences, can find everything they are looking for.

The sunsets over Moreton Bay are unforgettable and a rarity on the east coast of Australia. To add to the beauty and uniqueness, the sunset also heralds in the true Tangalooma stars – its family of wild dolphins.  Hand feeding the Tangalooma dolphins is the highlight of any trip. These magnificent animals come to the jetty each night - have done for 30 years - to socialise and have fresh fish fed to them by hundreds of adoring resort guests. The experience is extraordinary and you can see it on the faces of the people around you.

Come on over for the day and indulge in a wide range of adventure or nature based tours and activities. Go bush on the Tangalooma Desert Safari tour where you can sand toboggan down 70-metre dunes or take to the tracks on an ATV quad bike tour. With over 80 tours and activities on offer, you can make your day as adventurous or relaxed as you wish.

Tangalooma’s high-speed catamarans depart daily from Brisbane’s Holt Street Wharf at Pinkenba. The wharf is a 15-minute drive from the CBD and 10 minutes from Brisbane Airport.
