Although there’s a caretaker on the property attending to the still-working structure, the three white-painted heritage homes perched on dramatic cliffs overlooking this sleepy fishing village in the northern corner of the Myall Lakes National Park have more recently been converted into three award-winning holiday homes.

The Head Keeper’s cottage sleeps eight; the two smaller Assistant Keeper’s cottages both sleep six. Imagine sitting in your living room looking out over the deserted beach below, watching a storm come in while waves crash on the shore, or a pod of migrating humpbacks blow their glorious plumes in the air. Guests will have no shortage of things to do; there are the Myall Lakes and Wallingat National Parks, Wallis and Smith Lakes, plenty of rivers, rock pools and Aboriginal sites to explore.
