Australian Desert Expeditions conducts scientific and ecological surveys in the isolated Central deserts.

Using a string of 20 packcamels, our scientists and travellers explore the desert in a sustainable and ecologically responsible manner; on foot. Walking is paramount to fully observe and record changes in landscape, flora & fauna and importantly, to facilitate discovery, unravelling the secrets of the desert as they appear underfoot.
