Resist the temptation to hibernate at home in your woollies this winter. Some of the best weekends away can be had when the temperature drops, and Angel Wing is probably the most divine place to do it.

Located deep in the Blue Mountains near Jenolan Caves, this lush and spacious home consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a designer kitchen, two wood fireplaces and underfloor heating to escape from the frosty mountain air… but not the stunning landscape.

There is room for eight guests, but we think it feels just perfect for two.
