There’s another huge reason to dine in Circular Quay now that chef Peter Gilmore is reviving the famed Bennelong Restaurant at Sydney Opera House. Oh, and then there’s his three-hatted Quay just across the water too. #SpoiledForChoice…
Date night in Sydney is set to get much more exciting with the re-opening of the iconic Bennelong Restaurant, headed by one of Australia’s best chefs, Peter Gilmore – he also runs the three-hatted Quay across the water at the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
There’ll be five levels of foodie fantasia on offer, ranging from a signature Peter Gilmore dining experience on the main lower level to a ‘cultured and cured’ section where fresh oysters, crustaceans and finely diced and sliced fish (aka sashimi) will be just the thing for a quick bite, preferably washed down with a glass of champagne, as well as a more casual eatery upstairs for pre- and post-show dining.
If you really want to make it a night to remember ask for a table near the glass on the lower level when you book– they have the best views of the harbour and city.
