Lirrwi Tourism offers visitors the privilege of spending time in this part of the incredibly beautiful, remote East Arnhem Land through Bawaka Cultural Experiences.

Bawaka – which means ‘unknown heaven’ – is a place where silky white sand, tropical palm trees and brilliant blue sea provide a backdrop to the very special, immersive tours on offer, which will draw you into the daily lives and activities of the Yolngu people who live here as they share their stories and culture, along with their skills in traditional fishing and cooking, basket weaving and bush medicine.

Day tours and overnight experiences are available, usually for groups of around 10 people. Life-changing stuff.
