Every second year since 1972, residents of Winton have held a week-long festival to celebrating the tenacity and down-to-earth sprit of The Outback. There’s the Australian Dunny Derby (outhouse racing; probably better seen than explained), a bush poet’s breakfast, and outback iron man, woman and kid competitions.
