Outdoor cinemas at The Mission Beach Film festival (MBFF) will be the showing films celebrating unique stories of the natural world
A new addition to The Mission Beach Film festival (MBFF) will be the outdoor cinemas showing 4 films over 3 days celebrating unique stories of the natural world. The community focused event is held on venues across the mainland and the world heritage site of tropical Dunk Island in Queensland.
The festival is the first to be dedicated to sustainability and environmental issues and will buy carbon credits to fully offset its footprint and plant 1000 trees, aiming to be certified as a “Climate Friendly Event”. The Fox and the Child, Big River Man, The Age of Stupid, and The Cove will be shown in the idyllic setting, and festival goers can also choose to stay overnight on the Island.
