ADELAIDE HILLS INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM

See eight internationally recognised sculptors work their magic to create just as many stone sculptures at The Cedars – the Hahndorf estate of artist Hans Heysen. The works will begin as large blocks of marble or granite, before the artists gradually transform them into unique sculptures that will remain within the Adelaide Hills, later forming a sculpture trail.
It’s a happy combination of art, wine and local produce, with more than a week’s worth of artistic events including local and national exhibitions, music, dance, literary and history tours, a farmers’ market and a competition (closing May 11) to design next year’s festival poster.
