If stopping at Norseman, try The Railway Inn. Its decor reflecst work being done to maintain its heritage, with a surprising and original feel of entering an old-style cinema foyer. There’s a choice of traditional hotel rooms in the main building or units that are suitable to take pets. DIY breakfast is included downstairs, with plenty of motel-type choices.

If you have time travel around the Eyre Peninsula via Port Limcoln and stop in at Coffin Bay or Streaky Bay for some delectable Pacific oysters. If more oysters are on the menu then a stop at Thevenard near Ceduna is recommended.

Have travelled the nullarbor 8 times, Car camp trailer 4 kids, Slide on van, and motor bike. Never been bored, different every time from bull dust [1969 Ithink] to beautiful wildflowers. Hopeing to go again soon.
