With its rustic stone walls, this romantic little hideaway isn’t your typical beach shack – but being just 400 metres from the pristine shores of Adventure Bay Beach, it’d be remiss of us not to tell you about it.

Nestled into 33 acres of open bushland and surrounded by mapped walking trails and swimming hotspots, this couple’s cottage has everything necessary for a two-person treat. Inside is a king-sized bed (adorned with luxe linen), a two-person spa bath (with bushland views), a fully self-contained kitchen, in-floor heating and a wood heater, for a cosy stay no matter the time of year.

And, of course, there is the local produce. Bruny Island Cheese and Café, Get Shucked Oysters and Bruny Island Berry Farm are all must-dos on a trip to the island – if you can drag yourself away from the beach, that is.
