Fun With Food in Daylesford and Macedon

Next February, the Daylesford and Macedon region will show off their fresh produce. So why not go along and enjoy the fruits of their labour?

Jam, honey, cheese, meat, bread . . . we’re already salivating and that’s only some of the food on offer at The Regional Producers Day ’09 in Daylesford, Victoria.

On February 8 at the famous Lake House, the diversity and quality of the region’s produce will be celebrated. And what better way to celebrate than to let you taste it?

They’ve got all tastebuds covered: herbs and spices, sausages, wagyu beef, goats cheese, vinegars and oils, seafood and plenty more.

But it wouldn’t be a true celebration without music, so expect live performances on the day. If you’re in the region, head along with your partner or family and make a day out of eating delicious food, sipping wine and relaxing in the beautiful gardens of Lake House.

Entry costs $5, kids under 12 go free. Check out www.lakehouse.com.au for more information.
