Is it the most most remote Opera in the world? Probably. Lauren Cameron says it’s Opera but not as you have ever known it.

If the concept of a balmy evening under the stars, live seaside opera, and gourmet hampers seems cliché – it is. Place it on one of the most picturesque and remote Australian beaches and it’s an Australian experience unlike any other.

Now in its 18th year, this year’s program features the moving final scene from La Boheme, a duet from Les Pêcheurs de Perles by Bizet, as well as some infamous scenes from Puccini’s Turandot. So the concert isn’t just for opera-buffs – anyone with an appreciation for operatic music could enjoy the evening.

Rounding out the entire experience with a bit of indulgence, a gourmet pre-dining opera package (pre-order only) is available.

There are plenty of other ‘Opera, Dining and Accommodation’ packages that have been put together by a handful of Broome’s hotel resorts so stick around for a small holiday or head into the great Kimberley region.
