Word is spreading fast among the intrepid about Karijini National Park, but it’s still little-known enough to be a place of near-perfect serenity.

“Nowhere else on earth comes near it, for an experience of the planet way before human beings wrecked it,” agrees Scott. “The rock, the remoteness, the pockets of greenery, the sense of touching the early essence of the planet… all of these things set it apart. This is my favourite national park on the whole continent.”
