Out of the Office and Into the Hills

The Scenic Hills Riding Ranch near Campbelltown invites city slickers out to the countryside for a special twilight ride this December, writes Flora King.
On December 8th—for one special pre-Christmas night only—Scenic Hills Riding Ranch, just a 40 minute drive from Sydney’s CBD, is hosting a twilight horse ride in the surrounding countryside, designed to entice city slickers away from their desks in time for a wholesome and stress-relieving horseback evening jaunt.

Setting out from the ranch at 6pm, the two-hour trip will lead riders into the depths of some of Sydney’s most handsome countryside—namely the bush-clad hills and dales settled by colonial pioneer John Macarthur in the early 1800s—and then there will be a slap-up sunset sausage BBQ to follow.
