Every dreamy day spa in Noosa to melt away your worries

Pair a soothing escape to the Sunshine Coast with a visit to a tranquil day spa in Noosa.

In my book, leaning into holiday mode demands quality me-time at a local day spa. When I’m visiting beautiful Noosa, the options span the bush to the beach. Offering everything from lavish full-body pampering to Epsom salt soak sessions overlooking grassy hills, a day spa in Noosa always proves to be precisely what the doctor ordered. Here, my pick of local wellness experiences so you can sit back and simply breathe.

In short

If you only visit one day spa in Noosa, make it Ikatan Spa for its practically transportive Balinese-inspired immersion. You won’t find another sanctuary quite like it in the beach town.

1. Kin Kin Springs Bathhouse

The Sunshine Coast hinterland has been crying out for its own slice of day spa pie and, thankfully, the tiny town of Kin Kin has answered. I drive about 40 minutes from Noosa’s action-aplenty Hastings Street to find Kin Kin Springs Bathhouse which opened its doors in April 2025. Sinking into one of two hillside bathhouses that overlook resident cows, chirpy wildlife and a small lake, I’ve apparently died and gone to hinterland heaven. I find my own deep, handcrafted tub filled with Epsom salt as sparkling water and coconut water ensure I’m hydrated for the full two hours I’m there. My space is basically a shed, shaped from recycled materials, but the team have dialled up the warmth through vibrant artworks and potted greenery. The highlight? Those breathtaking views I struggle to part with. Make sure you ask the team to switch on the optional soft background music for true day spa indulgence.

2. Ikatan Spa

Nourish your skin with a rich natural scrub at Ikatan Day Spa.

My favourite day spa in Noosa, Ikatan Spa is designed for anybody seeking Nirvana spliced with that signature shoulder-dropping Balinese enlightenment. I drive about 15 minutes inland from Noosa Heads to Doonan to park hassle-free (a rarity in Noosa) and step into a lush tropical garden. Here to soak up every inch of the 75-minute Prasanna Massage Package I booked, which is performed in a breezy thatched hut amid the palms, I only just avoid snoozing as my feet, head, arms and hands are massaged with just the right strength. Furthermore, the team are kind and gentle, further extending the allure of this day spa in Noosa. I wish I’d brought pals as Ikatan also does a High Tea service for a minimum of four guests, which I spy served to a group as I’m wrapping up, my body completely revitalised.

3. Noosa Facial Lounge

Once loved as Day Spa Noosa, the team rebranded to Noosa Facial Lounge at the beginning of 2025, seizing the chance to send their vibes into pure Pinterest territory. Located on Sunshine Beach Rd, the skin experts have crafted a string of results-focused treatments, spanning LED light therapy, peels, extractions and facials, without compromising their famed massages and couples’ packages. Forgot to buff those nails prior to departure? This day spa in Noosa also offers pedicures for photo-ready tootsies.

4. Noosa Springs Spa at Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort

Oozing Roman bathhouse vibes, the Noosa Spring Spa is grand and spacious – exactly what a resort day spa should be. I’m all about that hot and cold therapy life so I especially love the Thermal Suite with individual float stations to ensure you plunge away from fellow guests. Other standout treatments at this day spa in Noosa are the Instagram-famous Japanese Scalp Treatment, which serves as a halo around your head to release a waterfall of goodness, a magnesium salt-concentrated floatation pool, and facials for every skin concern. If you’re staying on-site at the Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort, one of the best Noosa accommodation picks, you’ll drift away on cloud nine no matter what you book.

5. City Cave Noosa

I love a dedicated City Cave experience so having the franchise in Noosa is such a holiday bonus. City Cave Noosa is a calming spot offering a range of science-backed therapies. Float in a two-person-sized pool filled with 400 kilograms of Epsom salt or sink into an infrared sauna to amplify circulation, purification and muscle relaxation. Craving a massage? A wide variety suits everyone, including mamas-to-be.

6. Noosa Beach Yoga

Give your muscles a good stretch.

There are no massage tables or Enya beats but while we’re talking wellness, Noosa Beach Yoga deserves a nod. Saluting the sun from the stillness of Noosa Woods overlooking the Noosa River, groups assemble every day of the week anywhere between 8am and 9:30am. It’s a nourishing, totally unique outdoor experience as expert yogis guide you through a series of deep stretches and movements suitable for all ages. Owner Claudia and her team can take private class bookings and welcome children under 12, who can sign up for free.

7. Elysium Spa

Found in the centre of town, Elysium Spa is just beyond the lobby in the all-new Elysium Noosa Resort (opening December 2025 in the previous Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort on Hastings Street) and provides reliably delicious delights. While the Elysium team is putting fresh touches on the Noosa day spa as they move in, guests can still soak up the former AQUA Day Spa’s aqua therapy pool, book a massage or a facial, or consider one of the indulgent spa packages which span multiple hours. Whatever you book, you’ve got access to the soothing relaxation area where you can order fruit platters to enjoy at your own pace. The icing on the cake? The new owners are committed to enhancing the space in 2026, so watch this space.

8. Endota Spa Noosa

Spend a self-care day at Endota Spa Noosa.

Know the nationwide brand? Sure, but rarely does this chain arrive so close to the sand. Endota Spa Noosa nails its signature treatments and warm service right opposite Noosa Main Beach on Hastings Street, just a few steps away from the surf. Pick your pamper poison but start every visit in the relaxation lounge where fragrant herbal tea is poured and soft tunes bring feel-good vibes. As for the treatments, expect various massages and facials utilising organic products, as well as harder stuff like LED and clinical peels. Essential holiday duties including manicures, spray tanning and waxing are also on hand.

9. Stephanies Ocean Spa at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas

Whether you’re a guest at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas, or simply chasing quality downtime, Stephanies Ocean Spa is a haven for mind-melting treatments. There are both relaxing and targeted facials, multi-treatment packages that bundle up tea and sweets, body rituals including wraps and exfoliations, massages, pregnancy specialities and more.

Keeping locals mellow for more than 25 years, Noosa Spa is a Noosaville mainstay and always a good choice. Ideal for a day out with friends, the day spa in Noosa serves up a wide choice of packages to soothe, nourish and energise. Be it aromatherapy, facials, lymphatic drainage, sauna sessions, or beauty services, there’s a treatment for every mood. The team even arrange Spa Parties that usher in glasses of bubbles alongside treatments, so it’s a great group or multi-generation indulgence, too.

11. Sensaura Day Spa

The ‘Nurture and Nourish’ package will have you drifting off to sleep in no time.

I find plentiful calm at Sensaura Day Spa , which offers everything from body scrubs and facials to yoga sessions in an on-site studio. I tried the ‘Nurture and Nourish’ package during a recent visit and saw a foot soak, hot stone massage, signature facial, and scalp massage chased by a cheese platter and glass of bubbles utterly unwind me.

12. One Spa at RACV Noosa Resort

8 experiences that make Moreton Bay the best getaway

From the moment you arrive in Moreton Bay, stunning natural vistas, fresh and tasty dining, history and more invite you to stay and play.

Untouched national park, mirror-like lagoons and endless stretches of beaches all make Moreton Bay experiences feel like you’ve stumbled across a secret Queenslanders collectively vowed not to tell. Yet it’s easily accessible. Explore further and discover hinterland farms, ancient rainforest, fresh seafood and more: there’s something on offer for every pace, interest and generation.

Just 20 minutes from Brisbane Airport, it’s hard to believe how underrated this Queensland getaway is. Here’s your ultimate guide to rediscover play with unmissable experiences in Moreton Bay.

1. G’Day Adventure Tours, Bribie Island

G’Day Adventure Tours’ Sea to Table Experience
Explore Bribie Island with G’Day Adventure Tours.

G’Day Adventure Tours’ Sea to Table Experience should be your first agenda item in Moreton Bay. Take a 4WD journey through the sandy tracks of Bribie Island’s beaches to the still, glassy waters of the island’s lagoons. Glide over perfect replicas of paperbarks and fluffy blue clouds mirrored in the lagoon waters in your kayak. Listen as native birdsong echoes around you.

Then, it’s on to Fort Bribie. During the Second World War, these concrete bunkers – now slowly being enveloped by the dunes – were the last line of defence for Moreton Bay.

End the day with a sun-dappled beach picnic of locally caught Queensland prawns and famous Moreton Bay bugs. As you head home, watch the dolphins playfully dart in and out of the surf.

2. Morgan’s Seafood at Scarborough

Right on the Scarborough Boat Harbour, you’ll find Morgan’s Seafood . Between the luxury yachts, you’ll also spot trawlers and fishermen delivering their day’s catch right to Morgan’s. The family-owned and operated spot is one of the best places to try the region’s eponymous Moreton Bay bug. Or, sample more of the area’s direct-from-the-boat seafood fresh at their oyster and sushi bar. If you’re lucky, your visit might coincide with a day they’ve caught tuna.

Picture fish caught that day, prepared and then served to you as fresh sashimi as the sun sets over the unique silhouette of the Glasshouse Mountains.

3. Woorim Beach, Bribie Island

Hang 10, or relax, on Woorim Beach.

On Bribie’s eastern coastline, you’ll find Woorim Beach : aka the closest surf beach to Brisbane. Find a place on the sand by the patrolled area or wander further south to find a quiet spot and while the day away between the shaded dunes, the pages of your book and the peaceful sound of rolling waves.

Ask any local where to grab lunch, and they’ll direct you to Bribie Island Surf Club Bistro . Tuck into a fresh, local seafood platter, just metres from the beach.

4. D’Aguilar National Park

D’Aguilar National Park
Admire the landscapes of D’Aguilar National Park.

D’Aguilar National Park is a 40,000-hectare slice of greenery that stretches from urban Brisbane right up to Woodford (home of the Woodford Folk Festival). The vast expanse of park is home to ancient rainforests, eucalypt forests and shaded swimming spots hidden within gorges and under waterfalls. The area is significant for the Jinibara and Turrbal people, with ceremonial bora rings and dreaming trails all found within the park.

Carve out some time in your itinerary to explore the park’s many trails. The Maiala day-use area is the perfect starting point for walks for all levels of ability.

5. Arcade Wine Bar

Sit down to a menu inspired by Italy.

Opposite the Redcliffe Jetty and down a laneway, you’ll find an unassuming wine bar. Venture inside and quickly fall in love with Arcade Wine Bar , one of the region’s most beloved local haunts.

Owners Danilo and Matt have a combined 50 years of sommelier experience, which they have poured into the menu, styling and wine list. More than just a hole-in-the-wall wine bar, Arcade Wine is an enoteca (a wine repository), whose walls are lined with bottles upon bottles of Italian wine varietals from every corner of Italy.

Settle in with a wine and work your way through the menu inspired by Danilo’s native Italy: traditional meatballs, their quick-to-sell-out terrine, or a selection of Italian cheeses, charcuterie and arancini.

6. Wamuran & Loop Rail Trail

Away from the ocean, tucked in the hinterland, is the Wamuran & Loop Rail Trail . Perfect for cyclists or walkers, the trail was built to showcase the history of the Caboolture to Kilcoy rail corridor (last operating in 1964) and makes for the perfect family day out. The trail runs for 10.5km and connects Wamuran and Caboolture via an accessible path.

Pass through former railroad, bridges and shaded bushland as you cut from A to B. Plus, visit in winter for a detour along the way to one of the many pick-your-own strawberry farms.

7. Farm Visits

Beaches, mountains and history make an enticing combination. But Moreton Bay also brings hinterland, family-friendly farms to the table. Trevena Glen is one of the area’s most loved, with bunnies, ponies, sheep, alpacas (and more) available to visit for the kids. For the adults, book a horse-riding session and be treated to a grazing platter as you watch the sun set over the mountains of D’Aguilar National Park.

At White Ridge Farm , find camels, putt-putt, train and tractor rides and all kinds of animals. The entire farm is paved, making it accessible for all.

8. Miss Sprinkles

Miss Sprinkles Gelato moreton bay
Pick your scoop at Miss Sprinkles Gelato.

An ice cream at the beach is one of life’s most perfect pleasures. While in town, stop by Miss Sprinkles for the locals’ pick of homemade gelato on the Scarborough foreshore.

The gelato here is made the authentic Italian way and scooped up just across from the beach. Or, settle in at their kitschy pink wooden tables for traditional gelato in the sunshine.  Aside from the homemade gelato, you’ll also find tarts, pies and even doggie gelato.
