Take a break in the Royal National Park’s beautifully restored Hill Top property and enjoy one of the country’s most beautiful stretches of nature in style.
Hill Top: a spacious heritage home nestled deep in the vast stretches of the Royal National Park, a quiet corner in the bush where all you can hear are birds chattering as the sun sets.
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service has recently opened up this beautiful property, giving you and your friends the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine on a verandah with panoramic views taking in Port Hacking River. Just an hour’s drive south of Sydney, you’ll be surrounded by the park’s wildlife and miles away from the noise of the city.
With three bedrooms, Hill Top accommodates six people with everything you need for it to be a home away from home. The property is also perfectly positioned to explore Australia’s oldest national park. It’s just minutes away from Audley Dance Hall Café, Audley Boat Shed, where you can rent boats and bikes, and the Warumbul Picnic Area.
For the intrepid, there’s the spectacular Coast Track, Winifred Falls walking track and the Uloola Falls route. You can also cycle the historic carriage route of Lady Carrington Drive, or just simply head down to one of the park’s many beaches and roll out a towel.
After a day in the park, Hill Top is the perfect place to unwind, light up the gas barbecue and get some rest before heading out again into a wilderness that offers everything from beaches to rainforest, making it perfect to visit any time of year.
