Learn from the best at the Lake House Masterclass

The renowned Lake House, situated on the quaint shores of Lake Daylesford in Victoria, is about to become the Mecca of all food lovers, or at least for one weekend. On Sunday July 6.

Alla Wolf-Tasker (right), executive chef of the Lake House, will be welcoming some of Australia’s top chefs for a day of cooking demonstrations, discussions and tastings of all things delicious. The line-up includes Andrew McConnell, chef/proprietor of restaurant 312, Ben Shewry from Melbourne’s Attica, Frank Camorra, head chef of Movida, and Chui Lee Luk from Sydney’s Claude’s – a combination that’s bound to push the boundaries of conventional food preparation as we know it. And the best part is, you can be there to experience it all for yourself.

This Masterclass is held in a luxurious terrace room with a demonstration kitchen that boasts all the latest foodie gadgets. And when you’ve eaten so much your legs won’t hold your weight you just have to roll over to the lounge bar and regain your strength in the warmth of the open fire. There’ll also be wine tastings from the award-winning Dalwhinnie label and a delicious lunch to follow.

To watch these gods of the kitchen cook up a storm, it’s essential that you book ahead.

Tickets are $195 per person, call (03) 5348 3329 or email larissa@lakehouse.com.au to book, and check out www.lakehouse.com.au for more info.
