To recover from witnessing a love story involving a one-tonne, six-metre high gorilla you will need somewhere to rest and recuperate.
Therefore Sofitel Melbourne On Collins has teamed up with Melbourne’s newest music theatre event, King Kong, to provide a series of see and stay options.
The multi-million show, which at this stage is exclusive to Melbourne, is due to officially open on June 14 and run through to late July, but preview performances started today (June 4).
The production features more than 50 actors, singers, dancers, circus performers and puppeteers, who will bring Kong to ‘life’. Australian producer Global Creatures has been developing the show for the past five years.
The see and stay packages at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins are from $470 per room, per night including tickets to the show.
